OK Go release new video
OK Go, the most downloaded band ever, will premier the brand new video End Love TODAY at www.okgo.net .
End Love is the latest in a series of videos the GRAMMY®-winning band is creating to accompany every song on its album, Of The Blue Colour Of The Sky.
Ok Go continue to push creative boundaries with their new video End Love. They shoot in one take but in this instance, the take was 21 hours long. Using time-lapse photography, it follows the band from one day to the next, as they unfurl their sleeping bags at a park near their hometown of Silverlake, CA and kick up their heels the next morning with a group of volunteer dancers.
OK Go will release a Deluxe Edition of their third album, Of The Blue Colour Of The Sky, produced by ex-Mercury Rev member David Fridmann (Flaming Lips, MGMT), later this year on its own label, Paracadute. It will be distributed in the U.S. by RED, a division of Sony Music Entertainment, and by ADA in the rest of the world.
On 1st March 2010 OK Go released This Too Shall Pass as a single from their album. The video, which was shot inside a Rube Goldberg machine created by OK Go and Syyn Labs engineers, has garnered nearly 14 million views and is the #1 Top Rated (All Time) music video on YouTube.
OK Go has announced a world tour taking in America, Canada, Italy, Holland, Belgium, Finland and the UK. The band will be arriving in the UK in July.
