Carling gets festival season underway

Carling gets festival season underway

The festival season is now officially underway, and Carling kicked things off at the Isle of Wight Festival and Rock Ness last weekend. Music fans were in fine spirits and night after night The Local, Carling’s campsite bar brought in the crowds, lured by the promise of a perfectly poured pint of Carling and an amazing atmosphere to enjoy with their mates.

Situated in the heart of the campsite, The Local proved to be the perfect place to kick back with mates after a long day of festival fever. The DJs played party favourites late into the night to create an electric atmosphere for campers, a great start to the summer.

At the Isle of Wight Festival, the Carling resident DJ’s ended each night with a crowd pleasing anthem. Fun-lovin’ festival goers chanted 'one more tune!’ over and over until a few more classic tracks were played and the crowd sung unaccompanied to bring the fun finally to a close for another evening. Across the Border at Rock Ness, Plan B made a special appearance at The Local. He chatted to festival goers at the Scottish event and enjoyed a cold pint before wowing the crowd with a great performance on the main stage.

As a fully functioning pub, the Carling Local is the perfect watering hole for the weekend. Festival goers can kick back and enjoy all the comforts of their regular local including a perfectly poured, ice cold pint of Carling.

So if you’re already having festival withdrawals after this weekend or you missed the action, don’t worry because The Local will be returning to V Festival sponsored by Virgin Media this August including Headphone Disco so make sure you join Carling for some more festival fun!
