If relentlessly touring the UK in 2009 with Idlewild, Funeral for a Friend, Feeder and My Vitriol was not enough THE XCERTS can now announce their first shows of 2010. The band will be writing for their sophomore album through January before heading straight onto the Fightstar tour as main support! Dates are:

2009 saw the release of The Xcerts debut album 'In The Cold Wild We Smile’ which was produced by Dave Eringa (Ash, 3 Colours Red, Idlewild) and received glowing reviews across the board (Kerrang! 4/5, Rock Sound 8/10, Big Cheese 5/5). The band has recently been debuting new material at their final shows of 2009 and will enter the studio towards the end of February 2010 to begin work on their highly anticipated second album.
