Liam Gallagher talks up live debut
Gallagher JR tells Xfm Manchester his new band are set for their live debut in 2010.
Liam Gallagher has told Xfm Manchesters Clint Boon that his new project will play live this year. Speaking about his band with former Oasis bandmates Gem Archer and Andy Bell, Liam said:
'Well be on stage this year, mate. Without a doubt. Were half way through the record the demos, that is.
'Were in the studio this April to see if this producer works out. If he does, well crack on with the album through June and July'.
Gallagher, however, remained tight-lipped about the producer.
'Nah, mate, I cant tell you. Just in case it doesnt work out'
He also wasn't keen to reveal the band's new name, but stressed they wouldn't be using Oasis.
"No, its not Oasis. That was a shit name anyway. Im glad to see the back of it. Theres one that we're digging at the moment, but were going to get on with the music and see how it goes. If we havent got a better one by then, well go with the one were into".
You can hear the exclusive interview with Liam Gallagher from 4pm on Xfm Manchester 97.7FM and on-line.
