Boy George unplugged dates announced

Boy George is back doing what he loves best - singing live, stripped down, acoustic, unplugged. From Friday 9th April Boy George Up Close and Personal: Live in Concert sees George back on the road having just sold out 11 nights at the Leicester Square Theatre in London over Christmas. Taking this show on the road, the tour will see George performing a thrilling set featuring his biggest hits from Culture Club, his solo career, new writing and some great covers.

On Monday 22nd March, his first single of 2010, Amazing Grace, will be released by MN2S new label, Decode Records. Written by Boy George, John Themis & Roland Faber and produced & mixed by Kinky Roland, the single also features additional vocals by the critically acclaimed Portuguese singer Ana Lains. Amazing Grace will be released as a digital download, a CD single and as a limited edition vinyl picture disc! The release features club re-mixes by Sharp Boys, Filo & Peri, and Mac & Taylor, and the acoustic version features Jamiroquai’s Rob Harris on guitar. MN2S: 'It’s really great to be releasing music from such a seminal and iconic artist; we’ve never experienced such a buzz on a single before.'
