Dr Martens is celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year and is bringing music and fashion together, working with ten contemporary artists to reinterpret cult classic tracks.
Each new track is being released as a free download on the Dr Martens website, in addition, directors including Rankin, Ace Norton, Rupert Sanders and Don Letts have crafted bespoke videos.
Following the release of three tracks on Dr Marten’s birthday, 1st April 2010, on May 21st Buraka Som Sistema’s take on Neneh Cherry’s 'Buffalo Stance’ becomes available at http://50.drmartens.com/artists/buraka-som-sistema.
