After crowd-rocking performances at the Golden Gods awards, Sonisphere and Bloodstock, not to mention Biff’s special guest performance with Metallica in Paris in April, Britain’s favourite metallers, SAXON, will headline a 7-date UK tour in November.
Biff and the boys continue to delight their long-standing fans, as well as acquire a loyal following from a whole new generation. Of their massive resurgence, lead-singer Biff Byford says: 'Things are going really well and these shows will be a great end to a fantastic year – and feel free to send us your set list ideas.'
SAXON will be joined by special guests ANVIL and SUIDAKRA. Following the hit movie 'Anvil: The Story of Anvil' which so poignantly documented the band’s 30 year struggle, ANVIL, who headlined the Tuborg Stage at this year’s Download Festival, bring the heavy metal that inspired the likes of Metallica, Iron Maiden and Megadeth to UK audiences. Anvil are: Steve 'Lips' Kudlow (lead vocals, lead guitar), Robb Reiner (drums) and Glenn Five (bass, backing vocals).
