Corinne Bailey Rae new single release

Corinne Bailey Rae new single release

Corinne Bailey Rae will release 'I’d Do It All Again’ as the first single from her long-awaited new album in the New Year. 'I’d Do It All Again’ is taken from 'The Sea’, Corinne’s second album, which is released worldwide on February 1st.

The very first chance for people to hear this song will be when she appears on BBC2’s 'Later With Jools’ next week, performing an acoustic version of the track – just her, a guitar and her co-producer/bandmate Steve Brown on piano. This will be broadcast on both Tues 17th and Friday 20th November.

In further news Corinne has just confirmed a very special guest appearance as part of Mencap’s Little Noise Sessions. These are hosted and curated by Jo Whiley and feature world-class artists presenting raw, stripped-back sessions in the unique environment of the Union Chapel, Islington. She will be performing an acoustic set before headliner Richard Hawley takes to the stage on Thursday 19th November at the Union Chapel in Islington, London. Tickets are priced at £40 and are available at www.littlenoisesessions.org.uk

Corinne says: 'I was thrilled when Jo Whiley asked me to be a part of this year's Mencap's Little Noise Sessions and it's an opportunity I just couldn't turn down. I'm really looking forward to performing at the Union Chapel, it sounds like a brilliant venue and a sacred place to play music. It’s also a pleasure to be on the bill with Richard Hawley as I’m excited to see his set. I’ll be performing material from both my last album and my new one, and maybe a little surprise for everyone too.'

As previously announced, she follows this activity with her first full concert in well over two years on Monday 23rd November. This instantly sold-out gig at The Tabernacle in London will see Corinne unveil her brand new band and showcase a full range of songs from 'The Sea’.
