Lily Allen speaks out against piracy
It seems that a fierce debate surrounding illegal and unauthorised file-sharing is in full swing within the music world. Lily Allen was one of the first stars to speak out on music piracy and shes made it clear that in her opinion, music piracy is having a harmful effect on British music.
Other stars including James Blunt and Gary Barlow have now jumped in to support Lilys views, they argue that illegal sharing is ruining the careers of current and new artists.
A number of musicians, including Ed OBrien from Radiohead and Blurs Dave Rowntree, have opposed these claims and believe that those who do file-share should not be punished.
