Vasco Rossi announces first UK show

Live Nation are thrilled to announce that Italy’s number 1 rocker Vasco Rossi will be heading to the UK for his first ever performance on British soil at the HMV Apollo Hammersmith on the 4th May 2010.

Vasco Rossi or 'The King of the Stadiums’ as he is know on account of holding the record for ticket sales in his home country Italy, will be bringing his awe-inspiring rock show to the UK for the very first time in his 30 year career.

Vasco Rossi started a revolution back in the mid 80s. He has become a legend, a real and unique hero. A unique and alternative Vasco broke into the music scene at a time of political songwriting, shaking up the existing music system through lyrics and content referring to personal and social issues.

Vasco celebrates a career spanning 30 years: From his first album in1978 "Ma cosa vuoi che sia una canzone' to his most recent album, 2008’s "Il mondo che vorrei", he has written 20 albums. Sincere, in his songs he always tell his experiences and his human growth. Today, more than ever, young fans trust him: he tells how things really are, with young slang and poetic words. Nothing is guaranteed. Except the dreams and illusions that can help you live better.
