Moby returns to London for an ‘unplugged’ special

On Sunday 15th November Moby returns to London for a special, never before seen, 'unplugged’ live show at London’s Palace Theatre. Built in the late 1880's to be the home of English grand opera, the theatre has an impressive history, hosting the first Royal Variety Performance in 1912, and was also the venue for Fred Astaire's final stage musical in 1933. More recently, the venue is better known for staging musicals.

Moby will take to the stage at this historic venue to perform tracks from his album 'Wait For Me’ as well as some other Moby classics from previous albums. He will be joined on stage by the incredibly talented lead vocalists Joy Malcolm and Kelli Scarr, who performed with Moby in June at the Royal Festival Hall to much critical acclaim (The Evening Standard, 4 star review, The Guardian 4 star review). Moby’s stripped-back band line up will consist of a string section, piano, acoustic guitar, and percussion. Due to the intimate nature of the venue, tickets will be very limited.

Moby returns to the UK as part of a wider European tour in November, and coincides with the release of a limited edition deluxe version of his critically acclaimed 2009 album 'Wait For Me’ through his label, Little Idiot, on November 2nd, 2009. Since it’s release earlier this year, 'Wait For Me’ has won over critics and fans alike on a global scale. David Lynch described the album simply as 'beautiful', the Metro hailed it as "exceptional, emotional electronica', while the Observer proclaimed, 'the chill-out king returns!'.
