Sleepercurve new single and dates
Picture a cage match between The Prodigy, Mansun and Dépêche Mode against Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath and Interpol. Throw in a dash of Muse, Soundgarden and the Smashing Pumpkins and stage the whole thing on a flashing dance floor on board a future spaceship and youll start to get an idea of Sleepercurves sound. Having already supported the likes of Captain, The Rumble Strips, The Dykeenies, My Passion, Pete and the Pirates, Das Pop, and rocked the stage at the Download Festival, The Camden Crawl, Liverpool Sound City and Underage Festival, the trio have already amassed a loyal fan base and achieved in a short period more than most bands achieve in a lifetime.
Two tours have seen them reach the four corners of the UK and conquer everything in between, converting unsuspecting gig goers to bona fide Sleepercurve fans. After their latest studio visit, the boys are back with new single Robots (16th November) - a glorious sonic collision of their many extensive influences all packed together to make one magnificent slab of electro synth rock! With an equally awesome video to match, directed by Matt Simmonds (Bloc Party, The Manic Street Preachers, Rakes and Captain), many are tipping the band as one to watch this year. Robots is about the bands fear of a dystopian all controlling state,
"Its about breaking out from mass control and using your intelligence to escape dystopia the single is basically written for anyone out there who wants to start thinking for themselves!!' ,says front man Dan Walsh.
Described by Rock Sound as '(taking) you to places only your imagination can create', Sleepercurves music lies between the stage and the stadium, offering diversity, originality as well as mainstream appeal. Inspired by the future and films including Total Recall, Blade Runner and Logans Run, they write the soundtrack to your Sci Fi reverie and the melody that meddles with your mind.
Their fantastic work ethic, obsession with creating amazing sounds and their passionate performances have already placed them head and shoulders above their competition. Back on the road once again, they will shake stages and blow minds up and down the country with their master class in fine electro-synth rock. These guys are set to rise to the top of the game - dont miss a step of their journey!
