Nicki Minaj ‘teaching Spears to rap’

The pair have formed a close bond after spending so much time together and Britney is eager to learn how to perfect Nicki's fast talking rhymes. 'Brit has done a few raps with Nicki and loves Biggie Smalls and Snoop Dogg,' a source told British newspaper The Mirror. Britney has been practising her rapping backstage before her shows and is learning fast. There are even reports the 29-year-old singer may show off her new skills when she returns to the recording studio. 'She is even talking about switching things up to a rap vibe for a future album,' the source added. Britney and Nicki have made no secret of their admiration for each other. Britney recently said having Nicki on tour with her was the 'icing on the cake'. Before they took to the road, Nicki revealed she wanted to pick up tips on staging live shows from Britney. 'She's definitely an icon and I want to see what she does and how she moves the crowd and how she has managed to stay in the game this long and be relevant," she said.
