Figure 5 album released this month
Following on from the success of previous singles 'Nitty Gritty' (one of Xfms top 100 tracks of the year) and Rock Of Gibraltar, Glasgows Figure 5 return with their long awaited debut album 'Bonfire released on April 26th on 2 Up Records.
A fixture and major influence in the Scottish music scene for the last 5 years, Figure 5 bring their unique brand of psychedelic pop together in long player format for the first time with a collection of songs that are sure to cement their place as one of Scotlands best loved acts. A regular fixture at the likes of T in the Park and Rockness festivals, Figure 5 are widely regarded as one of the best live acts in the country- a fact acknowledged by the long list of established acts who have taken them on tour - including Ocean Colour Scene, The Fratellis and The Enemy.
Lead single, 'Never Believe and b-side 'Climbing out my Window are featured in the forthcoming feature film 'Crying With Laughter' (recent winner of the Scottish BAFA for Best Feature Film) and the video for the single features footage from Figure 5's Royal Albert Hall performance, complete with full orchestra at Roger Daltreys Teenage Cancer Trust benefit gig.
