According to the latest industry figures, weekly reach for Planet Rock has risen to the highest ever at 718,000 (up 3.5% qtr on qtr). The audience profile remains unchanged with 66% of listeners aged 25-54 and 59% ABC1.
The audience increase is driven by growth across all daytime shows Monday-Friday, with Rob Birnie's morning show audience up 12% to 290,000 and 'Breakfast with Alice Cooper' showing a 5% increase to 185,000.
The weekend sees Rick Wakeman and David Jensen's Saturday show (1000-1300) showing year on year growth of 17.3%
Planet Rock maintains its lead over the competition as a commercial digital only radio station with 5,182,000 total hours of listening.
