Neil Young has a new album on the way, due to hit stores next month.
Young made the announcement himself on his Facebook page on the weekend, saying the record will be released on September 28 on vinyl, CD and iTunes, with a Blu-Ray version and iPhone and iPad app to follow soon after.
The iPhone and iPad app will be an interactive album cover, although the singer negated the futuristic method of record release by adding 'forgive my use of the word 'album'. I am old school.'
The album was produced by Daniel Lanois (U2, Coldplay).
Track List:
Walk With Me
Sign Of Love
Someone's Gonna Rescue You
Love And War
Angry World

Rumblin'
One of the songs, 'Hitchhiker' was first performed in 1992, but was written in the 70s. It will be the first time the song has appeared on an album.
