Mick Jones busks at One Foot In The Grove Exhibition launch

The press launch of Mutate Britain’s highly anticipated 'One Foot In The Grove’ event got off to an incredible start last week as people came out in their hundreds to experience the 15,000 square foot exhibition of Street Art, giant Sculpture and Installations.

The event peaked with an impromptu busking set from legendary Clash guitarist Mick Jones, who performed for the passing punters and LARRY, Mutate Britain’s own 3-ton walking dog/robot who became so excited by the surprise set, his wagging metallic tail became a dangerous weapon!

December is your last chance to see Mutate Britain's epic art event. This one minute video tour of the Portobello Road location gives a glimpse of this truly astounding setting. Amongst a wealth of talent, the show features new work by Obey (Sheperd Fairey, maker of the iconic Obama 'Hope' poster campaign) and Joe Rush (maker of Glastonbury's Trash City). Enjoy food by TV chef Andrea Oliver, a licensed bar (London’s only and largest smoking bar!) and installed heating whilst browsing inspiring gifts in a gallery setting.
