Amy Winehouse kicks off at theatre-goers

Amy Winehouse shocked theatre-goers by hurling abuse at the cast and reportedly kicking the theatre’s manager.

The troubled star is being investigated by British police after her antics at the pantomime – a traditional musical comedy production, typically performed around Christmas – which saw her disrupt the performance of 'Cinderella’ by heckling its stars before attacking front-of-house manager Richard Pound.

Amy – who is thought to have been drinking - reportedly spent more than half an hour of the first act of the performance yelling expletives.

Her outbursts were said to include: 'F**k Cinders, Prince Charming, marry me' and branding the Ugly Sisters 'b***hes.'

Families in the audience at the theatre in Milton Keynes, South East England, were upset when the 'Back To Black’ star repeatedly stood up, blocking their view to jeer at the cast.

According to The Sun newspaper, during the show’s interval, Amy, 26, refused to be ushered to a box in the theatre, which is when she launched her attack at Richard, kicking him between his legs, punching him and pulling his hair.

At this point it is reported the singer was carried out of the theatre by her bodyguards, leaving members of the cast – including British TV personalities Anthea Turner and Bobby Davro – stunned.

The singer reportedly attended the play in support of her friend Anthony Kavanagh, a former pop singer and reality TV star who was standing in for the role of Prince Charming.

A source said: 'Anthony brought Amy to impress the cast with his showbiz connections, but it backfired badly.'

Local police said they are investigating an assault, but no arrest had been made.
