Lady Gaga has over 20 wigs

Lady Gaga has over 20 wigs

Lady Gaga has over 20 wigs – one for every mood.

The eccentric singer has the huge collection of hair pieces so she doesn’t have to see a hair stylist every time she wants a new look.

She said: 'I have more than 20 wigs. So I can have a new hairstyle without having to keep running to the hairdresser every day. That's great, right? And depending on my mood I opt for this at one time and for that at others. How I present myself to the outside world always depends on how I feel inside.'

Lady Gaga believes each of her wigs has its own individual personality and when she dons the locks she takes on its characteristics.

She added: 'My red curly wig is wild and a little confused. I think I'm also just a bit confused and messy.'

But the 23-year-old singer insists she doesn’t need to don a wig to feel crazy because she feels crazy enough anyway.

She added to German newspaper Main Post: 'I find myself already crazy enough. It can be confusing really, this life as Lady Gaga. Sometimes everything turns in my head. That´s my life, my wonderful, crazy life.'

Madness to headline Camp Bestival

Madness to headline Camp Bestival

Fresh from winning the coveted Family Festival Award at this year’s UK Festival Awards, Camp Bestival is all set to continue its crusade to bring back the Great British summer holiday with bells on, returning to the salubrious surrounds of Lulworth Castle for another jam-packed jaunt bursting with bountiful excitement for all the family.

Kicking off the first announcement for what is destined to be our most barnstorming jamboree yet, we are overjoyed to be welcoming the nutty boys, Madness, to our family feast of fun! Undoubtedly a national treasure, Madness, who are riding the crest of a critically acclaimed wave for their recent 'Liberty of Norton Folgate’ album, boast a back catalogue the envy of almost everybody, ever, their appeal knows no bounds so we can be assured of a rip-roaring knees up they take to the stage to play their Saturday night headline slot. Commenting on the set the band said: 'We love nothing more then a good old family knees up and if we get anywhere near the reception we got at Bestival in 2007 we'll feel like kings of Lulworth Castle.'

Synth-pop overlords The Human League will be gracing Lulworth Castle with a superlative selection of their anthemic tunes. One of Steel City’s most enduring bands, The Human League’s faultless body of work is still as breathtaking as ever, never failing to create an exceptionally electric atmosphere wherever they perform. Also joining Camp Bestival’s ever-eclectic line up will be the living embodiment of Funk, George Clinton with Parliament Funkadelic. Famed for the mind-bending, coruscating live sets that span his entire career, George Clinton is one of nature’s true one-offs and a real living legend. Current king of the pop tree, Calvin Harris will be invading the stage and your brain with his indelible hooks, a sure-fire guarantee to put a smile on your face and get your feet moving and all-conquering, MOBO Awards winning Chipmunk will be in the zone to keep on rhyming and shining, whipping the crowd into a frenzy.

Britney’s conservatorship to end soon

Britney’s conservatorship to end soon

The 28-year-old singer’s father Jamie Spears – who was made co-conservator of her personal and professional affairs after her public breakdown in 2008 - has met with lawyers and wants a judge to review the conditions of the agreement now Britney’s 'Circus’ tour has ended.

According to gossip website TMZ, there have been 'several lengthy meetings recently between the lawyers and the court commissioner in the commissioner’s chambers'.

Although they’ve met with the judge, Jamie and Britney’s lawyers cannot decide whether or not the conservatorship ends.

Instead, a 'capacity expert' – a court-appointed psychiatrist – will evaluate Britney and submit his results to the court commissioner.

While Britney could soon be in control of her personal life, her business interests are likely to be protected for longer.

TMZ reported: 'There are actually two conservatorships - one over Britney, the person, and the other over Britney's business affairs. We're told the business conservatorship will likely continue. The issue on the table is whether to end the conservatorship over Britney, the person. Again, no decisions have been made, but it's all moving in that direction.'

Mumford and Sons join BBC Radio 1 Festive Festival

Mumford and Sons join BBC Radio 1 Festive Festival

Getting the season in full swing, Nick Grimshaw hosts the BBC Radio 1 Festive Festival on Monday 21 December 7pm – 11pm, live from the legendary Maida Vale Studios.

Serving up a selection of musical treats from some of 2009’s established and hotly tipped acts the show cements Nick’s growing reputation as a supporter of new music in his nightly evening show from 10pm , Monday – Thursday on BBC Radio 1.

The artists confirmed for at the festive celebrations are - Simian Mobile Disco, Mumford and Sons, The XX, Enter Shikari and Marina and the Diamonds. Each act is set to perform three live tracks from the studios between 7pm – 10pm. For the last hour from 10pm, BBC Radio 1 DJ’s Kissy Sell Out and Toddla T take over with special mixes to get listeners into the party spirit.

'We're bringing a whole host of my favourite bands from 2009; one's who've shaped the year in music and my show over the past few months. The XX have broken through the hype and made my favourite album of the year so I'm thrilled to have them on the bill. Simian Mobile Disco returned this year with an album full of plinky plonky brilliance so we had to have them. Enter Shikari, probably the most loved band by my listeners, will tear it up as is Plan B who will be playing new stuff for the first time on the night. Mumford and Sons are really going to bring the festive vibes of the night and Marina and the Diamonds the glamour and a taster of a break through album of 2010. It’s such an honour to be broadcasting from Maida Vale and I can't wait to bring this festive special to everyone.' (Nick Grimshaw, BBC Radio 1)

Last year’s celebration, hosted by Steve Lamacq and Huw Stephens was also live from Maida Vale Studios and included performances from amongst others Glasvegas, Chipmunk, Florence and the Machine and Friendly Fires,, all performing for the In New Music We Trust Christmas Party.
