In an email sent late Saturday, her publicist said that a doctor in Greensboro, N.C., advised the 42-year-old singer not to perform that night since it was "evident" she wasn't fully recovered from an illness that left her briefly hospitalized last week.
Tonight's show in Atlanta and Tuesday's show in Fort Lauderdale have also been postponed so that Jackson can recuperate at home from an undisclosed ailment.
The R&B diva was rushed to a hospital in Montreal Sept. 29, forcing that night's show and two others in Boston and Philadelphia to be scrapped.
She has asked fans to keep their tickets for the postponed shows, which will be rescheduled.
