Miley Hearts God and Bibles, Not Scandal

(July 15) -- On her new album 'Breakout,' Miley Cyrus croons about '7 Things' in life she hates about an ex ... but what's the one thing she couldn't live without? "The Bible," the scandal-prone teen starlet says in a new TV Guide interview, calling it her "‘how-to' guide for life." She also says that she wouldn't know what to do "without a God that blesses me with the ability to do this."
In the interview, Cyrus is hesitant to chat about her controversial Vanity Fair photo shoot, saying that her and her family "try to keep [that stuff] as much not talked about as possible." She does, however, chat about some possibly-too-mature-for-fifteen topics.Discussing why she wears a purity ring -- a piece of jewelry meant to symbolize one's belief of no sex until marriage -- Cyrus cites her peers as motivation. "Even at my age, a lot of girls are starting to fall, and I think if [staying a virgin] is a commitment girls make, that's great," the 15-year-old 'Hannah Montana' starlet said. But when it does come to interaction with boys, Cyrus says she likes to think of herself as "the girl that no one can get, that no one can keep in their hand."Overall, she says she just wants "to be a positive role model." Her upcoming album, 'Breakout,' is on sale July 22.Miley Cyrus Racy Photos

The seemingly endless stream of private Miley Cyrus photos continues. On Saturday a Web site called Digital Gangster posted photos that they allege were found by a hacker known as TrainReq in the memory of the singer's cell phone.

A few hours later the headline on the gossip site JustJared.com blared 'Miley Cyrus is Soaking Wet.' Jared speculated that the Cyrus' necklace that reads "NICK J" is proof that she dated the Jonas Brothers band member.

it was only a matter of time before Perez Hilton shared them with the world, under the headline 'Miley Almost Naked!'

In late May, scandal erupted when Vanity Fair published photos of Miley Cyrus, taken by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz, where the teen was topless and covered with a cloth. Rekindling the scandal, Miley's father Billy Ray Cyrus says he "didn't know they were going to strip her down and wrap her in a blanket."

Billy Ray also caught flak for this Vanity Fair pose with his daughter, which drew criticism from many corners, even Howard Stern. "It looks like his daughter is his girlfriend," Stern said. Interest in the photos caused Vanity Fair's site to crash.

Renowned photographer Leibovitz defended her photographs. "I'm sorry that my portrait of Miley has been misinterpreted. Miley and I looked at fashion photographs together and we discussed the picture in that context before we shot it. The photograph is a simple, classic portrait, shot with very little makeup, and I think it is very beautiful."

On May 22, Miley and her penchant for self-taking scantily clad photos of herself has struck again, as new photos of the 15-year-old star raising her shirt and posing in underpants have hit the community site LiveJournal.

And in late April, photos of Cyrus flashing her bra and pulling up her shirt while draped across the lap of a male furthered the speculation that the singer-actress sensation may be more PG-13 or R than G-rated.

"The pictures of me on the Internet were silly, inappropriate shots," said Cyrus about the Internet photo scandal. The leaked pics didn't make a dent. Her 'Best of Both Worlds' CD was ranked near the top of the charts last week.
